Olive Oil Stone Ground with Mandarins
Perfect for a nutty salad or on smoked meats, Nudo's mandarin oil is the connoisseur's choice. It's made with organic mandarins from Southern Italy which are hustled straight off the tree and into our olive press. The blend of olives and mandarins makes for a fragrant oil which will breathe fresh life into any lacklustre recipe.
The olives in our flavoured oils come from the village of Moscufo in Abruzzo. The village lies within the Apruntino-Pescarese DOP region, which means its production and authenticity is under strict legal controls. In fact this was the first ever DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta) oil in Europe, so it pretty much wrote the rule book. The rule book here is pretty short; it just says ‘Leave it to nature’.

Susie: Mandarin oil - to die for!
I'd never tried oil from Nudo, or mandarin oil - but am completely hooked on both now! I'm eating low carb and the mandarin oil is wonderful drizzled over chicken salad. In fact, I'm cooking with it, throwing it over salads with abandon and, if it came in bigger sizes, I might even consider bathing in it :) Can't wait to try the other flavours.
