The Columbro Family'Pasta is our life'

The Columbro pasta machinery has been turning away in the family for nearly half a century. The company is still run by Papa Columbro who started it, now with the help of sons Andrea and Rosario. Together they’re a sort of Marx brothers outfit, each with their own role, but united in a mission to make the best pasta in Italy. They dry their pastas at low temperatures to retain all the ingredients’ delicate nutritional properties and they use specially made bronze cutting tools. These give the pasta a rougher texture which in turn means it absorbs the all important sauce that much more hungrily, which in turn means so do we.
