A bit about the land:
The lazy rolling hills around Offida are home to numerous vineyards growing the Pecorino grape as well as some of the best olive groves in Le Marche. Offida also has the best enoteca in the whole of the region, specialising in Le Marche wines.
A bit about the farmer:
Some people drive fast cars or jump out of airplanes to get their adrenaline rush. Not Tiziano. He does competitive pruning. Olive tree pruning is a big deal in rural Marche, and Tiziano is the best of the best, the Vidal Sassoon of olive hairstylists. When you meet his perfectly coiffured trees in the flesh, you'll feel you scored front row seats at the Paris Catwalk.
"Aleandri is a lovely part of the grove ..."
