QUESTIONS ABOUT REGISTERING YOUR ADOPTION/TREE
No. You only need to register your tree so that you can see a photograph of it. The gift purchaser has already given us an address to send the oil. If you want to change the address email us at adopt@nudo-italia.com with your tree code and new address.

Below are 3 senarios. Please choose the one that best suits you and follow the instructions.

SENARIO 1: IF YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED YOUR TREE, OR CREATED A NUDO ACCOUNT, DO THE FOLLOWING-

·         Type the URL from your certificate into your browser’s address box (the url starts with www.nudo-italia.com/tree/ and is followed by 2 letters and then 3 or 4 numbers).

·         Hit the return key

 

You will be taken to a screen with the following dialog box:

 

If you don’t see this dialog box go to SECTION B. If you do see this dialog box follow these instructions:

 

·         Enter your email address in the top white box (this must be different from the email address of the gift purchaser).

·         Choose a password and enter it into the middle white box (less than 15 characters).

·         Enter the 6 digit registration code from your Adoption Certificate into the bottom white box (this is not case sensitive).

·         Click on the button that says REGISTER. You can now see you tree profile.

 

SECTION B

If you see the following dialog box follow the instructions below. If you don’t see the following dialog box go to SECTION C

 

 

This dialog box means that you have already created a Nudo account with this email address.

·         In this event, click on the green link at the bottom which says 'Already have an Account?'. This takes you to a Sign In page where you enter the email address ,and password that you have already created.

·         Enter these details and click on the LOGIN button.

 

You will then be taken to a page with a dialog box asking for the registration code from your certificate:

·         Fill in the 6 digit registration code (this is not case sensitive) and you will be taken to your tree profile.

 

SECTION C

If you see the dialog box below. Follow the instructions below.

·         Enter the email address and password that you have created and click on the REGISTER button.

·         You will then see your tree profile.


SCENARIO 2: IF YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED YOUR TREE, BUT YOU HAVE ALREADY CREATED A NUDO ACCOUNT, DO THE FOLLOWING-

·         Go to the Sign In page and log in to your account with your email address and the password that you created (for the Sign In page click here http://www.nudo-italia.com/signin.php).

·         In the address bar type in the URL from your adoption certificate (the URL starts with www.nudo-italia.com/tree/ and is followed by 2 letters and then 3 or 4 numbers).

 

 You should be then see the following dialogue box asking for your registration code:

·         Type in the 6 digit code from your certificate (it is not case sensitive) and you will be taken to your tree profile.


SCENARIO 3: IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED YOUR TREE AND CREATED A NUDO ACCOUNT DO THE FOLLOWING-

·         Go to the Sign In page and log in to your account with your email address and the password that you created (for the Sign In page click here http://www.nudo-italia.com/signin.php).

·         Under the tab that says MY GIFTED TREES there is a grey button that says VIEW TREE PROFILE.

·         Click on this to see your tree profile.

 

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE TREE ADOPTION AS A GIFT
The tree adoption subscription entitles you to a quarterly delivery of olive oil from Nudo. If you choose to give the tree adoption as a gift instead, the gift recipient will receive an adoption pack, the spring delivery of olive oil from their tree, and then any subsequent deliveries (summer, fall and winter) that you choose to include for them.  
Your recipient will receive an ‘adoption pack’; this includes a personalised adoption certificate, an informational booklet and a personalised message (if you want one). The pack also details all the goodies that they can look forward to. 
Yes. When you check out, you’ll be asked for two addresses—one for you, and one for your recipient, where the oil will be sent. You can then choose which address you would like the certificate sent to. If you or your recipient move house during the year, just send us an email with the new address, and we will update our records. 
The spring package contains 1.5l /50.7fl oz of oil. If you add subsequent packages, the summer and winter deliveries contain 1.5l /50.7fl oz whilst the fall/autumn delivery contains 0.75l /25.2fl oz. 
 No! Once you adopt a tree, the year’s produce is yours. There are no extra charges.
 To get sufficient olives for a press, we harvest your tree with about 50 of its neighbours in the same grove — so the oil you receive includes oil from your tree as well as from those neighbours.
 Your Adoption will last for a year from the start date on your certificate or from registration. At the end of the year, you can readopt your same tree, with a 10% discount.
Spring packages are sent out in April. If you have also been gifted subsequent packages they will be sent out as follows: summer/July, fall/September and winter/December. 
Yes. We specialise in last minute gift-giving. If you go through the adoption process on our website, on the final screen after the payment, you can download an adoption certificate straight away. You can print this on some nice paper and hand it over until the Adoption Gift Pack pack reaches them.
 Yes, all adoptive parents are welcome to come and hug their olive tree. Please let us know if you plan to visit at least 2 weeks in advance, so we can provide you with more information and make sure that someone is there to show you around. Email: adopt@nudo-italia.com for more information.
We are currently working to take a photo of every tree in the adoption program. On your certificate you should find a link that will take you to a picture of your tree, if there is one. 
There are 3 ways to register your adoption. You can call us with your name, address, and registration code. You can mail us your details using the card in your adoption booklet, or simply email the same information to adopt@nudo-italia.com 
 First you sign into your Nudo account and go to 'My Nudo'. Next you visit your gift 'Tree Profile'. Finally you can click on the 'Download Certificate' button to download and print your certificate.
QUESTIONS ABOUT TREE ADOPTION AS A SUBSCRIPTION
 The tree adoption subscription entitles you to a quarterly delivery of olive oil from Nudo. If you choose to give the tree adoption as a gift instead, the gift recipient will receive an adoption pack, the spring delivery of olive oil from their tree, and then any subsequent deliveries (summer, fall and winter) that you choose to include for them.
No. Your quarterly subscription does not include this, but we can send you a digital certificate to print off. 
 Each quarterly package contains 1.5l /50.7fl oz of oil. You will receive 4 packages a year.
No, shipping is included in the subscription price. There are no extra charges. 
The spring package contains oil from your tree, the summer package contains a monovarietal oil, the fall package contains exclusive oils from Sicily and the winter package contains unfiltered, freshly pressed olio nuovo. The idea is to give you a variety of oils to keep you happy over the year. 
Spring packages are sent out each year in April. Subsequent packages will be sent out as follows: summer/June, fall/September and winter/December. 
You can cancel your subscription by emailing us. We prepare each delivery about 1 month in advance (it's a long trip boat trip from Italy), so to cancel before the Spring shipment you must inform us by March 1st, for the Summer delivery by 1st June, for the Fall delivery by 1st Sept and for the Winter delivery by 1st Nov. If you do not let us know before these dates then we may not be able to cancel the delivery and you will be charged. 
 You will be billed for the first quarter straight away and for subsequent packages you will be charged at the start of the month in which it ships out (March, June, September and December).

QUESTIONS ABOUT NUDO
 Our Nudo groves are scattered across the eastern coast of central Italy, in the Le Marche and Abruzzo regions. Nudo’s official HQ is in London in the United Kingdom, and Nudo Ltd is a UK registered company.
Nudo means ‘naked’ in Italian. We called the company Nudo because we only wanted to sell simple, pure products with no pesticides, additives or modifications. Naked, in other words. (Oh ok, we also quite liked the fact it sounded a bit cheeky). 
You can see a list of retailers who sell Nudo products on our stockists page. If you don’t see anything near you, please check back as we are always adding new retailers. Or get in touch with us if you have a place in mind. 
QUESTIONS ABOUT SHIPPING
 Spring packages are sent out each year in March. If you have also been gifted subsequent packages, or you are a subscriber, they will be sent out as follows: summer/June, fall/September and winter/December.
No, the cost of the adoption covers the delivery charges. 
We ship to any country, and the shipping charges are included in the cost of the adoption according to where you are located. 
QUESTIONS ABOUT CARD PAYMENTS
Yes. We use an external, internationally respected card processing company called SagePay. All the card details that you enter on our website go directly to SagePay's very secure system and Nudo never keeps a record of these details. 
There are two common reasons a credit card is declined by our payment system. The first is that the name and address provided during check out are not exactly the same as the details registered with the credit card company. Secondly, it is possible that your bank or credit card company has blocked the purchase. This can happen when they assume the purchase is fraudulent, because you are making a payment to a foreign company. If you give them a call and ask them to allow the purchase, you should be able to check out successfully on your next try. 
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express for gift adoptions and webshop purchases. You can also pay with PayPal. For the adoption subscription we accept Visa and Mastercard only.
