Choose a tree: Gruffina (128 Trees)
Varietal:
Leccino and Pendolino
A bit about the land:
Down here the only sound you can hear is from the bells of the campanile opposite. If its lunch time and you’re down here you’re in trouble.
A bit about the trees:
The gradient and angle (south) of this grove means the tree are susceptible to parasites – a headache for the organic farmer. The parasite’s poetic name ‘Cocciniglia Mezzo Grano di Pepe’ (lit. ladybirds in half a grain of pepper) might sound sweet but we’re not seduced and we make sure to keep the little blighters under control.
All the trees in Gruffina have been adopted. Please try another part of the grove.
